Cassandra "Andra" Taflin has been writing since she could hold a pencil, starting off with picture books scribbled on spare copy paper. When her family bought their first laptop computer in 2004, Andra discovered the ease and convenience of typing, and spent nearly every day with claim on the family computer. Her mother had to give her notice if she ever needed the computer when Andra would usually be using it.

Andra was always successful in writing classes, though she hated doing anything for school. She barely passed any of her math classes because instead of taking notes, she would write song lyrics. Andra would finish assignments as quickly as possible so she could get back to writing something of her own; be it a poem, movie, TV show, or novel.

Now long out of school, Andra writes whenever she can, and however she can. She is currently working as a Technical Director in Georgia, squeezing in writing sessions on her breaks or after work. When she's not in the theater, she is likely reading, making art, baking, or pretending to be a model on her Instagram.

Andra believes that the first purpose of art is to entertain and to offer an escape. Andra's true joy has always been in putting to page all the tales she wants to tell. Hence, she created this site as a place to bring her belief and her joy together. Here she shares her love of creation and hopes to provide an entertaining escape for anyone who wants it.
